What a lovely post. I have been contemplating this lately as those with whom we can be are true selves are quite special.

Thank you Tara 🙏 I do believe that authenticity is to be true to ourselves and to expect nothing less from anyone else. If we can do this truthfully then we must also acknowledge that what we do to another we also do to ourselves, due to the interconnectedness of consciousness and it’s interelationship with the creation of reality.

Everything is an illusion apart from unconditional love

Love in its purest form is the essence of all creation and the highest state of consciousness.

Unconditional love - love without conditions. The only way. But I don't know what it means when faced with things like Gaza, the contemplation of which completely drains me. Do I 'detach' and pretend it's not happening?

Thanks Joshua 🙏 In the world of the unconscionable which is defined by the absence of unconditional love, the lives of inconvenient “others” are expendable and liberty is available only to the highest bidders. To pretend that state sanctioned murder is not happening would in itself be unconscionable and escaping reality in such a manner isn’t an option for those of us that aren't cognitively disonant by unconscious choice.

Turning a blind eye to and sweeping awareness of such depravity into the subconscious only delays the inevitable reckoning that humanity must face with itself. The real trick will be to stay alive long enough to see that day to come to be, whilst also resisting the urge to pretend that it’s not happening. But what can we do? The world is owned and run by psychopaths who consider the rest of us as collateral damage to the fulfilment of their brutally selfish and conceitedly murderous desires. Such is the lot of the seething masses of the ignorant, who lack the awareness and moral compunction to comprehend their own complicity to this genocide, preferring to remain self satisfied in their positions of relative privilege, avoiding reality by pretending that it’s not happening.

Thank you. I think what I was trying to say was that I find reading about Gaza overwhelming. If I stop reading about it, my mind & soul is less disturbed by not having to confront the daily horrors - but would such an action be a betrayal of unconditional love?

I could never of course 'pretend it's not happening' (too much is under my skin already) - but to face the facts of a genocide being committed as I live and tend my garden in relative security leaves me wondering what would be an unconditional-love-action-response that reconciles overwhelm with abdication-of-duty (for lack of a better term).

By undergoing a process of inner alchemy, converting dense and leaden elements of our awareness into purer levels of expansion, we can lift our consciousness into higher frequencies of experience, to and beyond the point where we can see this world as a product, or an artefact of consciousness itself. We can see the Godly essence of all beings of creation and understand the fall of man into iniquity or from the garden of Eden, (of the Soul or consciousness), in an altogether different way. This is the way for you and I, indeed all of us, to serve the elevation of mankind, as it feeds into the collective consciousness or morphic field, catalysing the awareness of all of mankind. So whilst you are attending your garden do so as though to your own soul and consciousness, for this is how humanity will be changed one person at a time until we reach a tipping point. Consciousness at the species level is a fractal and at this point a domino effect will have been created.

Thank you for that. I'm sure that what is going on in the world is a reflection, or even direct consequence of, collective consciousness being at war with itself - and individuals likewise at war with themselves. So it makes sense to 'chop wood, carry water' in a state of appreciation - and even reconciliation with the snails and caterpillars that eat our budding young food.

I think that love is best described in this song by Don Francisco. Love is not feeling, it's an act of your will! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hkSYofKjH40
