In my view I see you as so much more than that. You have attained to your essence and are at peace with yourself, not grasping after false notions of self hood beyond it. I see you as absorbed in the things that you do but not as the things that you do. Utility is the expression of what you are by taking up the "who or what" of your essence and applying it for the better good; yet you are distinctly apart from it. The measure by which you have surrendered your notions of who you are and what material wealth you possess as yours, is the level of detachment to which you have attained, and also through this process, the quietude of mind and stillness of presence, to allude to the the true nature of your essential being and reality itself. It is simply difficult to see ourselves as we are when we have surrendered attachment to any such false notions of what and who we think we are. It is a part of being alive in a world where one's sense of self is derived through action, that makes us belive that we are what we do, when we are so much more. Heidegger alluded to this in "On Being And Time."
