Bravo!! Yes!!! I'm with you Elliot. I was so naive when I first waded into the New Age life-coaching waters. When I went on my book tour years ago, I thought I was going to find my 'tribe' (first clue that I was duped by an industry) in the health and wellness events tours but what I found were ego maniacs who hadn't done the work - the great work as you say. Spiritual Charlatans indeed!
Thank you Penny, your sincerity and authenticity is a mark of the work you have done. The Great Work must never be set aside, not in this or any lifetime, for perfection itself is the Grandest of Illusions. With humility only may we persevere in the Great Work, and this, as we can all attest, is always a work in progress. Where pride and ego is, within and without, that is where our task is at hand.

I can see how you might see it as that, but it is so much more. I've instinctively known that something wasn't right in the New Age Spiritual Movement for a very long time. My mentor, teacher and friend Christa Faye Burka confirmed it for me by showing me it's antithesis. I never believed that there was anything I could do to change it yet conversely have held to and adhere to the whole "Be the change that you want to see in the world," ethos. Deep within myself I was waiting for the right circumstances and opportunity to do just that. You may choose to believe what you want of course, and perhaps only I can know the truth of the matter.
