Problem-Reaction-Solution --- tried and tested over many centuries, currently in full throttle. No amount of protests make the slightest bit of difference to situations like Gaza, despite the holocaust on the Palestinians happening in broad daylight.
Must these things be so? Perhaps the wrong question. I think as fully human-divine beings, our job is to keep growing in consciousness to become evermore true to who and what we truly are -- and the course of politics will take whatever course it takes.
Remember that for centuries, millenia even, ruling classes have determined exactly what terms we think and communicate in, how we behave and treat one another; and the masses have been manipulated, controlled and diminished. We were trained to judge and persecute one another, to rip each other apart by divide and rule tactics; to be made simple minded and denigrated by bread and circuses; to be misled by falsified historical and religious accounts; to be downtrodden by legislature and bureaucracy. And yet here we are speaking in terms contrary to how the ruling classes would like. This is because there is and always will be a part of our nature that will resist these things. We are spiritual beings having a physical experience, not human beings as we have been trained to think. Consciousness is spirit and not a function of the human brain as some would have us believe. It’s up to us to question everything that we think, and everything that we think we know. When we do so we will be ready for our next stage of evolution, not as human beings but as divine ones. Therein lies the Paradox in our thinking. We have to stop thinking in order to know the truth. We cannot think ourselves out of our thought prisons, we have to bypass them altogether in order to reframe how these instruments called brains can be used for our betterment, rather than our ruination. Respectfully, IMHO 🙏
Pretty clear that's what We have going, indeed, and thus My efforts to motivate Us out of this trap.

I agree; the idea that 'the brain produces consciousness' is absolute rubbish. We need a complete renewal of how we think, a renewing of our minds
