Congratulations! You've awakened in the Matrix. You are now aware that the matrix has you.
Now what?
Most people get to this point and feel helpless to do anything else but to observe the nature of the matrix and it’s hold over them.
Is that enough? Of course not! The mere fact that one awakens has stirred the heart and mind with a yearning to be free. A restlessness prevails that rubs you up the wrong way every time you step outside of your door. The non-player characters that you encounter in the simulation are surrogate agents and could turn on you at any moment. You, yourself, could transform into an agent still. Most of you haven't unplugged yet. You want to, but where is your real life Morpheus, master of dreams, coming to show you how to do it?
Let me tell you a secret, we all have everything we need already to unplug from the matrix.
No, it’s not a pair of hiking boots and and a backpack bursting with survival gear, although they will come in handy.
It's your birth certificate, your Strawman; the certificate issued when your mama and papa sold you to the government.
Take it back to the registrar of births and deaths and tell them you want your freedom. Tell them that you do not consent to personal slavery or anything else to do with their world of oppression.
Then get the hell out of dodge.
They cannot rule without our consent. Whatever happens after said consent is withdrawn is an unknown. We can choose to live in fear or we can choose to terminate our complicity in the atrocities committed in our names. What choice is there? I'm not suggesting hiding. I'm suggesting that there is a choice to participate in this matrix of lies or not. If you take the fact that once our energy is removed from the system there's nothing to hold it up, and we are free to invest our energy into creating a new world, a new timeline, one that isn't hell bent on the destruction of our race, we've got everything to gain and nothing to lose.
Ahhh…. I was going to rewatch The Matrix tonight. Love that movie so much. Alas, there is a storm and the internet is down. But then I saw your post Elliot and I got a dose of what I wanted… like a girl walking by in a red dress :-).
